Tam Anh Scientific Conference 2025: Advanced – Modern – Continuously Developing, for the Future of Vietnam’s Healthcare
On September 27–28, 2025, the Annual Scientific Conference of the Tam Anh General Hospital System took place with a scale of over 1,200 attendees, 280+ domestic and international speakers, and 300+ scientific presentations across more than 20 specialties. With the theme “Advanced – Modern – Continuously Developing,” this year’s conference brought together numerous presentations updating the latest advances in gastrointestinal endoscopy, medical AI and robotics, personalized treatment, cancer vaccines, fetal medicine, and more, creating a platform for connection and knowledge sharing among a wide community of healthcare professionals both domestically and internationally.
Within the framework of the conference, the specialized sessions on Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary, Gastroenterology, and Gastrointestinal Surgery attracted significant attention, particularly with the following presentations:
- The presentation titled “Evaluation of Pathological Characteristics and Diagnostic Capability of Endoscopic Ultrasound at Tam Anh General Hospital” by Associate Professor, PhD, MD Pham Huu Tung – Deputy Director of the Center for Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgery, emphasized the role of endoscopic ultrasound in the early detection of gastrointestinal lesions, thereby enhancing treatment effectiveness.
- The presentation titled “Evaluation of Outcomes of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection in the Treatment of Precancerous Lesions and Early Gastrointestinal Cancer” by PhD, MD Pham Cong Khanh – Head of the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Department, provided practical evidence of advanced, safe, and effective endoscopic techniques.
- In addition, TXI technology on the Olympus X1 system also received special attention through a presentation on its effectiveness in diagnosing atrophic gastritis by Dr. Ngo Duong Tuan Vu from Tam Anh General Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.
