Highlights from VGEC 2025 included:

  • Live Cases from Can Tho General Hospital: Three endoscopy rooms showcased advanced interventional techniques (ESD, EUS, ERCP/EUS) performed by top experts from Japan, Australia, and Vietnam. This rare opportunity allowed attending physicians to observe live procedures and engage directly with the experts during the conference.

  • Hands-on Training Sessions Led by Top Doctors: At training stations supported and equipped by Olympus, young physicians received hands-on guidance in ESD, SutuArt endoscopic suturing, and interventional endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).

  • Focused Clinical Sessions on Early-Stage Gastric and Colorectal Cancers: These sessions garnered significant interest, featuring the latest VFDE updates on early GI cancer endoscopic treatment, shared experiences from major hospitals in Vietnam, and in-depth insights from international specialists.
