Lenus Vietnam accompanies K Hospital in organizing the Comprehensive Scientific Workshop on Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

With the goal of enhancing professional capacity and updating advanced techniques in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) for diagnosis and intervention, K Hospital, in collaboration with Olympus Vietnam and Lenus Vietnam, organized the Scientific Workshop: “Comprehensive Scientific Workshop on Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) in Diagnosis and Intervention” on September 18–19, 2025.

This professional event was led by Professor Takeshi Ogura, Head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University (Japan), with a presentation from Dr. Nguyen Trong Nga, Department of Endoscopy and Functional Exploration, K Hospital.

During the workshop, Professor Takeshi Ogura delivered valuable insights on the structure of EUS training and practice programs in Japan, the latest advances in EUS, as well as shared step-by-step techniques from fundamental to advanced EUS procedures.

A highlight of the workshop was the hands-on clinical and model-based practice sessions, conducted under the direct guidance of Professor Ogura. Supporting the practical sessions was the Olympus EU-ME3 Endoscopic Ultrasound Processor, representing the latest in EUS technology.
